Client: Abbott's TaeKwonDo America
Abbott's TaeKwonDo America had recently purchased a new website template and was in need of converting their old site to fit the template. After talking with the owner, Sean Abbott, we saw that a martial arts school has rather unique requirements for a functional website. We took the template that he had purchased and re-worked it to suite those needs. Using a mix of php, jquery and AJAX, abbottstkd.com now has an event calendar, class schedule, rotating photo stream and gallery, instructor bios, separate news and alerts sections.

BlacksburgKids.com's website redesign consisted of creating a clean, easy-to-navigate website to showcase the local advertisers that cater to the local community. Since their advertisers are local, family oriented businesses, BlacksburgKids.com wanted their site to convey the same sense of community.

Project: Online Calendar Integration

I was brought in to complete the online calendar section for website project for www.mainstreetradford.org. Due to extenuating circumstances, the original developer was unable to complete the calendar integration. I kept their existing database and built a php calendar around it, complete with a semi-transparent "tool-tip" hover effect for quick perusal of upcoming events.

This is a Wordpress Template that I created for the Dorm Room Biz website relaunch. The main artwork and layout decisions were done by the owner of the site, while I took care of slicing the Photoshop file into usable images and creating the php template in a format that Wordpress could use.
